Proposal Policy
The Zetta platform allows clients to propose delivery deadlines and/or request discounts on order values, subject to approval by linguistic professionals. To ensure that execution deadlines are met and to maintain efficient communication, we have established the following rules for the validity period of proposal acceptance, considering the confirmation deadline in continuous hours and the delivery deadline in business days.
1. Proposal with a 1-Day Execution Deadline (1 business day):
- Proposal Validity: The proposal must be confirmed by the client within 4 continuous hours after acceptance by the translator.
- New Proposal: If the client does not confirm within 4 continuous hours, the proposal will be considered invalid, and the client must make a new proposal.
2. Proposal with a 2-Day Execution Deadline (2 business days):
- Proposal Validity: The proposal must be confirmed by the client within 8 continuous hours after acceptance by the translator.
- New Proposal: If the client does not confirm within 8 continuous hours, the proposal will be considered invalid, and the client must make a new proposal.
3. Proposal with a 3 to 5-Day Execution Deadline (3 to 5 business days):
- Proposal Validity: The proposal must be confirmed by the client within 12 continuous hours after acceptance by the translator.
- New Proposal: If the client does not confirm within 12 continuous hours, the proposal will be considered invalid, and the client must make a new proposal.
4. Proposal with a 6 to 10-Day Execution Deadline (6 to 10 business days):
- Proposal Validity: The proposal must be confirmed by the client within 24 continuous hours after acceptance by the translator.
- New Proposal: If the client does not confirm within 24 continuous hours, the proposal will be considered invalid, and the client must make a new proposal.
5. Proposal with an Execution Deadline of More Than 10 Days (more than 10 business days):
- Proposal Validity: The proposal must be confirmed by the client within 48 continuous hours after acceptance by the translator.
- New Proposal: If the client does not confirm within 48 continuous hours, the proposal will be considered invalid, and the client must make a new proposal.
General Rules:
- Continuous Hours: Continuous hours are counted without considering breaks or non-business hours.
- Delivery Deadlines: The agreed-upon execution deadline between the client and the translator will be counted in business days, excluding weekends and holidays.
- Notification: The client will be notified via email and through the Zetta platform about the proposal acceptance by the translator and the deadline for confirmation.
- Loss of Validity: If the client does not confirm the proposal within the stipulated period, the proposal will be considered invalid, and the translator will no longer be obligated to meet the initially promised deadline.
- New Proposal: The client may request a new proposal from the same or another translator, considering the new execution deadlines and agreed-upon conditions.
This rule aims to balance the necessary time for proposal confirmation and efficient translation execution, respecting both the translator's deadline and the client's decision-making time.ture.
